Living in Kajang: What do you think?

bangi is filling up fast, or probably filled up already.. kajang is still vast, depending on which area you're interested in. the town is already full and as >3 said, traffic is a bit on the poor side. but you can still find lots of developing areas around kajang, like kajang utama, semenyih, sg long, serdang, BTHO to name a few.. all are roughly the same distance to KL.. personally, I've been living on this south side of the klang valley all my life and liking it still.. |

| it might be better to stay in bangi rather than kajang. kajang is an old town and the roads are a bit small compared to traffic. bangi on the other hand is a newer town with better roads. | |

hi lk, welcome to the forums.
i think kajang overall is a good place to stay. it's near to kl via the north-south highway and only around 20km away from kl, and you also have the commuter to get to kl (but the commuter is seldom on time) just by searching on the property list you can see that you can get a decent apartment for under 150K too! http://www.mariproperty.com/search/property/kajang ... in terms of shoppin areas, well you have jusco, tesco and also giant within town. |
