Personally I would prefer Denai Alam. Undoubtedly we have to fork out the extra cash to own a place there (currently the terrace are from RM600K above I think), you will have a completely newly developed township by a renowned developer Sime Darby. The design, finishing, somehow is really up to par to most mid income or upper class owners who are thinking of buying a property.
I work at Kota Damansara area, it took me about 15 minutes from the traffic light at the entrance of the Denai Alam to office via old Shah Alam - Sungai Buloh road when the road is not busy. At peak hours around 30 minutes.

subang alam is not bad too.
right now for me the traffic is the biggest atrracting factor to live in shah alam. subang alam currently don't have that terrible jam (unless it's a weekend...) so it's fairly good.

subang alam is also near the ldp, nkve, kesas and elite highways so it's also easy to access. not to mention it's also near kota kemuning, usj etc..

how about kota kemuning?
it's near the kesas highway and easy access to subang jaya or even kl.
i've been there, and the jam is not so bad either.
